A Henderson man is facing drug and other charges after a Saturday afternoon traffic stop in Murray.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Adam Newcomb of Henderson on North 12th Street. During the stop, it was alleged that Newcomb was in possession of methamphetamine and a prescription not in the proper container. Newcomb was also reportedly driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Newcomb was arrested on the felony drug charge and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
