Graves County suspects in stolen Ferrari case facing more fraud charges

Two Graves County suspects recently jailed on a multitude of charges including theft of a vintage Ferrari and farm equipment now face new charges.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said Monday 45-year-old Richard Ricky Cook and 33-year-old Teri S. Bush have both been charged with theft by deception after a complaint from a Graves County homeowner. 

The homeowner reported that an agreement was reached with the two suspects for $8,800 worth of home repairs to be performed at the home and payment was made up front last summer. 

None of the work as agreed was done. An investigation revealed that the check given to the suspects was in fact cashed last summer.

Both Cook and Bush were served with the new charges on Friday. 

They were already being held in connection to a theft investigation involving over $100,000 dollars worth of vehicles and tractors, including a 1962 Ferrari sports car. Those charges include criminal possession of a forged instrument, burglary, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass.

Cook was additionally charged with possession of firearms by a felon.
