On the third anniversary of the devastating tornadoes in Mayfield and other parts of western Kentucky, Governor Andy Beshear will visit the region today.
The governor was scheduled to be in Mayfield for a home dedication on North 6th Street at 11 am, but travel conditions from Frankfort kept him from making that appearance.
He is still scheduled to be in Gilbertsville at 12:45 pm for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the $3 million investment by AT&T to expand high-speed internet in western Kentucky at The Moors Resort and Marina.
Beshear will wrap up his tour at 3:30 by dedicating a home in the Sacremento community of Muhlenberg County.
