Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree said that a truck driven by 28-year-old Alan Fox ran off Princeton Road and into a ditch at the intersection of Hurricane Road.
The sheriff said Fox had visible severe injuries, but refused to go to the hospital and grabbed a deputy at the scene.
WKDZ reported that Fox was taken to the hospital for medical clearance, then arrested and charged with assault, DUI, disorderly conduct, terroristic threatening and resisting arrest.
