Gilbertsville man arrested after child abuse claims

A Gilbertsville man was arrested after claims he was abusing a child.

Thirty-two-year-old Paul Gil was arrested on an indictment warrant after detectives said he abused a six-year-old child in his custody.

Gil was charged with criminal abuse, strangulation, and assault.

He was taken to the Marshall County jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
