Gas prices on the rise in the region

Consumers are seeing higher gas prices in the region this week.

Triple A's East Central Gas Report out Monday found prices in West Central Kentucky nine cents higher than last week.  This week's average price is $2.87 per gallon, up from last week's average of $2.79 per gallon.

Paducah's average price is the same as last week's region average at $2.79 per gallon.  Nationally, the average is $3.13, down two cents from last week.
