Gas prices fall in time for Thanksgiving

Travelers for the Thanksgiving holiday will find gas prices lower than a week ago in the region.

Triple A's East Central Gas Report out Monday finds prices this week down four cents from a week ago. The average price in the region is $2.59 per gallon.

Paducah's average price is at $ 2.65 per gallon, six cents higher than the region average. Nationally, this week's price is $3.06 per gallon with Kentucky's average price at $2.74 per gallon, which ranks in the top 10 of the nation's least expensive gas markets.
