Gas prices climb upward ahead of July 4th holiday

Ahead of the Independence Day holiday, Triple A reports gas prices in West Central Kentucky are 22 cents higher this week.

The average price this week is $3.25 per gallon with the national average at $3.49 per gallon.

Paducah's average price this week is at $3.20, but could be found as low as 3.11 on Monday.
