A traffic stop in Graves County Friday night turned into a drug trafficking arrest for a Benton man.

A Graves County Sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Justin Seaford of Benton for a traffic violation along US 45. The stop, just before midnight, led to a search of the vehicle. A deputy, assisted by Mayfield Police and a second deputy, allegedly uncovered 22 suboxone pills concealed in a cigar package and small amounts of cocaine and marijuana.

Seaford was arrested and charged with trafficking in suboxone, possession of cocaine and marijuana, and traffic offenses. He was processed at the Graves County Restricted Custody Center and taken to an out-of-county jail.
