Free Narcan distribution stands to be installed across region

Turning Point Recovery Community Center has announced the installation of Narcan Distribution stands across the region

The stands will be placed across Turning Point's service area, including Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, McCracken, and Marshall Counties.

Each box will include free Narcan, Turning Point information, and substance use disorder treatment options.

Program director Brandon Fitch said they've always offered Narcan in their downtown Paducah offices, but felt the need to enhance access to Narcan due to the rise in opioid-related deaths.

Narcan is a medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose, and has been proven to be crucial in saving lives.
