Four people arrested on drug charges

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office arrested four people for drug related offenses following a traffic stop on Wednesday.

 A vehicle was stopped on Lone Oak Road near I-24 for traffic infractions. Deputies determined that the driver of the vehicle, 36-year-old Warren Brown, was under the influence of illegal drugs.

Three passengers, 31-year-old Kelly Johnson, 38-year-old Matthew Lawson, and 30-year-old Jame Mitchell were also arrested for drug possession after a search of the vehicle revealed quantities of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

 Johnson also had an outstanding McCracken County arrest warrant. 

All four individuals were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
