Multiple people were arrested in Calloway County Wednesday on following a drug trafficking investigation.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said they were assisted by the DEA Paducah Post of Duty and the Marshall County Sheriff's Office in executing a search warrant at a home on Johnson Blvd. in Murray. The search warrant came as a result of a multi-month investigation into narcotics trafficking in Calloway County involving methamphetamine and cocaine.

The Sheriff's Office said multiple people were at the home while they executed the search warrant, all of which are said to be involved in the drug trafficking investigation.

Authorities allegedly found 4 pounds of methamphetamine, 4.5 pounds of marijuana, a quantity of cocaine, several firearms, and a sum of US currency.

The Sheriff's Office said they arrested 23-year-old Kenneth Walls, 24-year-old Ra'vichael Strickland, 23-year-old Aaliyah Sims and 27-year-old Richard Scott all of Murray.

All four were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

Walls was also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

The Sheriff's Office said the same home had previously been the target of a lengthy drug trafficking investigation in mid 2023.  This previous investigation resulted in the federal arrest and sentencing of Gary Sims, who was the primary resident at that time.
