Florida man arrested after crash injures one on Brookport Bridge

A Florida man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon following a crash on the Brookport Bridge. 

McCracken County and Massac County Sheriff's deputies and EMS were called out to the crash just after 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. They said a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Carl Poole of Tampa crashed into the back of another vehicle driven by 48-year-old Fatima Hollis of Carbondale. Hollis was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Deputies allegedly found Poole to be under the influence and in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. 

Poole was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, wanton endangerment, plus possession of meth and marijuana.
