Fire damages Royal Oaks Chevrolet

A structure fire Tuesday afternoon damaged a Paducah automobile dealership.

The Paducah Fire Department was called to Royal Oaks Chevrolet on Park Avenue.  Chief Steve Collins told West Kentucky Star the signage at the front of the building was on fire when they arrived.

The cause of the fire is currently not known.  An employee also told West Kentucky Star there was a vehicle and two motorcycles in the showroom but they were safely removed.

Chief Collins added there was smoke damage in the showroom, but no injuries were reported.
