Fight ends in assault charge for Paducah man

A fight in Paducah on Tuesday left a man facing an assault charge.

Authorities responded to a disturbance complaint at a home on North 7th Street, where they found a man bleeding from apparent knife wounds.

After speaking with several witnesses, detectives said it was determined that 33-year-old Jay Bledsoe had pulled out a knife and cut the victim multiple times while fighting.

The victim was taken to a local hospital.

Bledsoe was charged with assault and taken to the McCracken County Jail.
