Everyone safe, road open after truck collides with logs on 51 South

A tractor trailer collision briefly shutdown part of 51 South in Hickman County on Monday evening.

The Hickman County Sheriff's Office said the road is open, but 51 South was down to one lane. Early reports were that a truck hauling logs was slowing or stopped when a second semi truck collided with the logs as the driver reportedly could not stop in time. 

The Sheriff's Office posted to Facebook "the driver of truck two found himself sharing his cab with a few logs, but luckily this wasn't his final destination."

No injuries were reported.
