Eddyville man accused of soliciting photos from child

An Eddyvile man is in custody after an investigation last week.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said on September 20, it began looking into a report of a man accused of soliciting a 12-year-old child for obscene pictures.

On Thursday afternoon, deputies arrested 48-year-old David E. Peek.

Peek was charged with procurement or promoting use of minor by electronic means, and is currently being held at the Crittenden County Detention Center.

The sheriff’s office said additional charges are possible.
