Drug charges for wanted Almo man

An Almo man faces new drug charges after deputies serve several arrest warrants.

Deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff's Office went to the Almo home of 51-year-old Johnny Scott on Tuesday. Scott was wanted for a parole violation and three failure to appear in court warrants. Once there, deputies also allegedly located methamphetamine in the home.

Scott was served the warrants, charged with meth possession, and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
