A two-vehicle crash on US 45 in Graves County on Thursday morning sent two people to the hospital.
The crash occurred just before 7 a.m. near Baldree Road. Graves County Sheriff's deputies said an SUV driven by 21-year-old Abigail Norton of Paducah was traveling southbound when she changed lanes to go around a pickup driven by 65-year-old Robert Bell of Ledbetter. Norton's vehicle swerved to the left, she reportedly overcorrected and collided with Bell's truck sending both off the road, down an embankment, and causing both to roll several times coming to rest on their roofs.
Deputies said when they arrived Bell, Norton, and Norton's passenger had all gotten out of the vehicles on their own.
Bell was injured but refused a trip to the hospital. Norton and her passenger, though, were taken to Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital for treatment.
