Domestic assault results in charges for Princeton man

A domestic assault led to charges or a Princeton man over the weekend.

Princeton Police said officers were sent to North Jefferson Street early Sunday morning where a woman reported that 30-year-old Christopher Oliver had assaulted her at her residence and fled before officers arrived.

Police located Oliver and he was charged with fourth-degree assault and criminal trespassing. 

Oliver was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
