Daycare worker arrested, charged with abuse

A Paducah daycare worker has been arrested on a charge of abuse of a child.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, detectives responded in late September to a daycare on Hovekamp Road in Farley. An employee of the daycare had discovered severe bruising to a three-year-old child.

Law enforcement used security cameras and forensics to determine that 31-year-old Sadie Gallatin, of Paducah, an employee of the daycare, was in charge of the child's well being, and was responsible for the severe bruising.

An arrest warrant was issued for Gallatin and she was taken into custody on October 22nd, charged with criminal abuse. She was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
