The United States Department of Energy will once again conduct public tours of the former Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant.

The free tours will take place on June 13, July 11, and Aug. 8 and will begin at the Paducah site.  Visitors will get an up-close look at the cleanup process and see several of the historical buildings.

Portsmouth Paducah Project Office Acting Deputy Manager and Paducah Site Lead April Ladd said, “Tours provide the community an opportunity to see current cleanup progress at the site. As reindustrialization continues at the site, these tours play an important role in engaging the community as cleanup moves forward and new industries continue to show interest in Paducah.”

Everyone must pre-register at https://fourriversnuclearpartnership.com/tours. Attendees must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, and have a valid government-issued photo I.D. No cameras, recording devices, cell phones, or any other wireless or Bluetooth-capable devices are allowed.

Space is limited.
