A Marion man has been indicted on drug trafficking charges following an extensive undercover investigation.
Crittenden County Sheriff Evan Head announced that 67-year-old Paul D. Loyd of Marion had been served with the warrant by deputies with the Crittenden, Lyon, and Livingston County Sheriff's Departments along with Marion Police and the West Kentucky Violent Crimes Task Force.
In addition to the indictment warrant, a search warrant was executed on Loyd's home. There, investigators reportedly located more methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and cash. Loyd is facing several charges of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a prescription drug not in the proper container, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A second individual, 49-year-old Stacy Lewis of Marion, was in the home at the time of the search. Lewis was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a felony probation violation.
Both were taken to the Crittenden County Jail.
