Crash sends Murray man to hospital

A two-vehicle accident in Murray on Wednesday sent one person to the hospital.

Officers responded to the accident at the intersection of 8th Street and Main Street.

Twenty-year-old Allysa Beard of Robards, Kentucky, said she was stopped on 8th Street when she saw a vehicle traveling at a slow speed on Main Street. 

Beard thought the vehicle was coming to a stop and made a turn onto Main Street, where she was struck by 66-year-old Dan Wilson of Murray.

Wilson was taken to a hospital for treatment.
