A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a one-lane restriction for northbound traffic on U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road in the Lone Oak area of McCracken County starting Wednesday, Nov. 20.

The project will allow construction of new curb and gutter for an entrance to a new convenience store at the former Backyard Burgers location. This is along U.S. 45 near the Mohawk Drive intersection and just north of the KY 3074/Bleich Road intersection in the 2400 Block of Lone Oak Road.

This work zone lane restriction for northbound traffic only is expected to be in place from approximately 7 a.m., CST, Wednesday to about 4 p.m. Friday, weather permitting. All traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
