A complaint about a person standing in the middle of a Calloway County road ended in a Wisconsin man's arrest Monday.
Deputies responded to the 2000 block of Dunbar Road where they said the man was still blocking traffic and wouldn't move when asked.
The person, identified as 38-year-old Joshua Richardson, was found to have active warrants and fled into the woods nearby.
Richardson eventually tripped and fell, but authorities said he still refused to comply, and attempted to assault deputies.
He was eventually arrested and served with the warrant. Richardson was additionally charged with fleeing or evading police, assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
He was taken to the Calloway County jail.
