A Clarksville man who had been in the Christian County jail was arrested a second time shortly after his release Wednesday.

Hopkinsville Police told WKDZ 44-year-old Hector Pena had been jailed on charges of disorderly conduct, but was arrested again shortly after his release after slashing tires on cars at the jail.  Pena was spotted not far from the jail but refused to follow officers commands.

Wben apprehended, Pena spat into the front of the police cruiser while being returned to jaul.  He is charged with criminal mischief, assault of a police officer and tampering with physical evidence.
