Driver killed in Christian County crash

A Christian County man is dead following a Thursday afternoon traffic accident.

The Christian County Sheriff's Office said the crash  occured on Butler Road around 5:15 pm when a truck driven by 78-year-old Michael Blane of Hopklinsville ran off the roadway near Gospel Peace Road.

The truck hit an emankment, flipped multiple times and ejected Blane in the process. Life saving procedures were done at the scene but were not successful.
