Christian County home found on fire as authorities tried to serve an EPO

A Hopkinsville home was found on fire Sunday night as authorities tried to serve an emergency protective order.

WKDZ reported the Christian County Sheriff's Office said when they arrived at the Prmbroke Road residence near Eagle Way bypass, they found the home on fire.

Deputies said the woman who they were serving the EPO on came to the residence and stated she had not been there since Satuday night.

Hopkinsville fire officials said nothing of the home was left but the foundation when they arrived.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
