Cave-in-Rock ferry back open as Ohio River levels fall

The Cave-In-Rock Ferry is back open today and running on its normal schedule.

The ferry has been out of operation since Feb. 19, due to high water levels on the Ohio River.

As of this morning, the Ohio has fallen below moderate flood stage to 36.4 feet.

The river peaked last Monday morning at 44.7 feet.
