An alleged threat against a juvenile led to a Carlisle County woman's arrest on several charges.

Carlisle County Schools contacted the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office Wednesday morning regarding an alleged threat made against a student by 34-year-old Christin Cole.

While on the way to her Cunningham home, deputies said they located and stopped a vehicle driven by Cole.

Deputies said it was discovered that Cole was possibly under the influence of alcohol and other substances, leading to Cole's arrest on a DUI charge.

Deputies said they interviewed three students at the school and determined the threat was actually a miscommunication by the juvenile to a staff member. However, they said the interview did provide evidence of criminal activity at Cole's home, including allegedly giving marijuana and alcohol to a 14-year-old and to a 12-year-old.

Following a search of the home, Cole was additionally charged with unlawful transaction with a minor, wanton endangerment, and possession of marijuana.

She was taken to McCracken County Jail.
