A Calloway County woman has been sentenced to 25 months in federal prison in a wire fraud case.

The U.S. Attorney's Office said that 34-year-old Amanda S. Robertson was convicted on six counts of wire fraud after reportedly embezzling over $1,000,000 from her employer to pay some of her personal expenses as well as fund other businesses she owned.

Robertson was the bookkeeper for a construction business from May 2020 through May 2023. In addition to the two years and one month in prison, Robertson will serve two years of supervised release. She was also ordered to make restitution in the amount of $1,470,000.
