Caldwell deputies make multiple DUI arrests

Two traffic stops in Caldwell County early this week sent two people to jail.

Deputies were called to Highway 672 for a single-vehicle accident on Sunday, where authorities said 30-year-old William Bacon of Cerulean was arrested and charged with DUI and failure to maintain insurance.

On Monday, deputies received a trespassing complaint on Hopkinsville Road, leading to the arrest of 49-year-old Charlotte Sauders of Benton.

Sauders was ultimately charged with DUI and taken to the Caldwell County jail.
