Caldwell County Schools announced Thursday that Daniel Kukahiko has been named the new principal of Caldwell County High School.
Kukahiko is a Caldwell County alumnus. His teaching career began at Hopkins County Central High School, where he spent six years in special education. In 2012, he returned to Caldwell County High School to work in special education, and head coach of the Tigers basketball team.
He became assistant principal at CCHS in 2021.
Kukahiko's new role will begin July 1.
