Cadiz woman jailed following traffic stop on I-69

A Cadiz woman was arrested Wednesday on Interstate 69 in Madisonville.

Madisonville police told WKDZ 32-year-old Angel Howard was a passenger in a vehicle operated by her mother, which was stopped after she crossed a fog line and returned to the center line.

During the stop, officers saw a syringe and a small container between Howard's legs.  After seeing Howard reach into her clothing, investigators also found a syringe containing suspected meth and Suboxone pills in her bra.

Howard was charged with several drug related charges and lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
