Cadiz woman arrested on criminal abuse charges

A Cadiz woman was charged with criminal abuse after a four year old was found running down the road of North Tanyard Road Thursday.

The Trigg County Sheriff's Office told WKDZ it was the third time the child had been found  running down the road alone.

26 year old Breanna Mason was arrested and charged with three counts of second degree criminal abuse and failure to notify an address change to the Department of Transportation.

Invesitgators reported two other children younger than the four year old were in Mason's home and it was discovered the floors were dirty, the sink was filled with dirty diapers and the children had bug bites on them.
