Several buildings at Murray State University were evacuated for a time Monday afternoon after a bomb threat was reported.
Just before 1 pm, the school received an email indicating a bomb threat at Waterfield Library. It and several other buildings were evacuated.
Officials with ATF, Murray State University Police and other local agencies searched the buildings and determined there was not a credible threat. The Office of Homeland Security also stated the threat was a hoax.
Classes in the buildings affected by the threat will resume Tuesday.
