Boil water advisory lifted after west Paducah water main break

Repairs on the significant water main break in the west Paducah area of McCracken County have been completed.

Paducah Water said samples were found to be negative for bacteriological contamination and the boil water advisory has been lifted for customers north of Blandville Road, west of Cairo Road, and south of Ogden Landing Road.

Officials discovered the water main break in the early morning hours on Thursday in a creek west of Barkley airport.
