Benton police chief receives statewide award

The City of Benton's police chief has received a statewide honor.

Stephen Sanderson was named the 2024 Police Chief of the Year by the Kentucky Association of Chiefs during its meeting Tuesday in Bowling Green.

In addition, Benton's police department received accreditation for the fifth straight year.
