An attempted traffic stop in Calloway County led to a pursuit and eventual arrest of a Benton man.
Deputies attempted to stop a four-wheeler Thursday morning on KY 94 East at Burkeen Road.
The driver, 38-year-old Josh Odom, reportedly fled, while the passenger was seen attempting to get Odom to stop.
The sheriff's office said Odom eventually drove into a corn field where he was taken to the ground after resisting arrest.
The passenger was uninjured and released.
Authorities said Odom has two pending drug and theft cases in Marshall County, one pending drug case in Lyon County, and was out on bond in Calloway County for a previous fleeing charge.
Odom was charged with reckless driving, wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, and other traffic-related offenses.
