Benton man jailed following Calloway County traffic stop

A Benton man was arrested early Tuesday following a traffic stop in Calloway County at Hwy 641 North and West Fork Road.

39 year old Joshua Pendleton was found to be in possession of a container with multiple types of pills along with devices used to ingest medication after it is crushed.

Pendleton was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substamce, prescription not in a proper container, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphanelia and various traffic offenses.

He was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
