After a brief dry intervals today, daily chances of showers and thunderstorms ramp back up on Friday and continue well into next week.
Saturday will also be a drier day, but then there's at least a 50% chance of rain forecast for the rest of the next week.
Memorial Day looks to bring a high of 81 with showers.
Rainfall will total 2 to 3 inches of rain by next Wednesday. Flooding issues will remain minor at most due to the long duration of heavy rainfall that will allow runoff or absorption into the soil.
Unseasonably cool temperatures in the 70s will trend back above normal well into the 80s by next week.
