Pursuit and shot fired in Christian County

An attempt to find a man wanted on outstanding warrants led to a pursuit and shots fired Tuesday night in Christian County.

WKDZ reported the Christian County Sheriff's Department as indicating they were at a Lafayette Road home looking for Timothy Osiborski, who was wanted on charges of strangulation, assault, unlawful imprisonment and wanton endangerment.

Investigators said while at the home, Osiborski reportedly got into a vehicle, driving through the garage door toward deputies which led them to fire a shot which struck the car. Investigation later showed the vehicle had been reported stolen. 

The pursuit went to Mount Vernon Church Road where it ended with Osiborski jumping out of the vehicle with a gun of unknown type, and ending with him taken into custody with assistance from a K9.

Osiborski was taken to an area hospital for treatment,
