A Calloway County man was jailed on a variety of drug-related charges.
The Calloway County Sheriff's Department said 60-year-old Dana P. Ahart of Almo was arrested after an invesitgation which lasted several months. Investigators said Ahart is accused of selling large quantities of methamphetamine in and around Calloway County.
During a search at Ahart's residence, deputies seized approximately 50 grams of crystal meth packaged and ready for sale. They also located $605.00 in cash, baggies, digital scales, and marijuana.
Police said Ahart has an extensive criminal history dating back to the early 2000’s for charges including manufacturing and trafficking meth.
Ahart is currently on probation from a meth-related charge. He was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center where he is being held on a $20,000 cash bond.
