Alleged assault at Lyon County High School brings charges for a juvenile

An alleged assault at Lyon County High School on Thursday ended with charges for a student.

The assault reportedly occurred during a class on Thursday morning just before 10:30 a.m. The school resource officer investigated the case involving a 14-year-old and another student. The incident brought a 4th-degree assault charge for the 14-year-old. 

The student was removed from the school and released to a guardian.
