AQS wins national trade show award

Paducah's American Quilter's Society was recently honored at a national trade show conference for online promotion of its annual Quiltweek event and classes.

Earlier this month the Trade Show News Network presented its annual awards in Las Vegas. AQS won this year's Innovation Award for online classes hosted on Facebook and Youtube.

After people around the country bought so many sewing machines during the pandemic to make facemasks, AQS developed the series of free classes to teach basic quiltmaking techniques.

Since the classes have been available online from June of 2020 through last December, they were viewed more than 424,000 times.
