Shawnee College annual job fair coming April 1

Shawnee Community College will hold its annual job fair on Wednesday, April 1, with dozens of regional employers ready to talk to prospective employees.

The event will take place on their main Ullin, Illinois campus from 8:30 a.m. til noon in the gym.

The job fair will include local employers in healthcare, construction, manufacturing and transportation. Participating organizations include banks, hospitals, trade unions, and local businesses. Law enforcement, emergency services, and trade apprenticeship programs will also be represented.

Students and community members are encouraged to attend, bring resumes, and speak with recruiters about available positions.
