Paducah Public Schools announced the hiring of a new district instructional coach on Friday.
As a member of the Paducah Instructional Team, Christal Crane will provide instructional assistance and professional development to teachers and administrators, mainly at Paducah Tilghman High School.
Crane has worked in education for nine years, previously teaching language arts at McCracken County for seven years, and Graves County for one year.
She received her B.A. from Murray State University in elementary education and learning and behavior disorders K-12. Crane continued her education at MSU where she earned an M.A.Ed in teacher leadership with a literacy specialist endorsement. More recently she completed her Rank I in education administration with an instructional supervisor endorsement.
Crane grew up attending Paducah Public Schools and graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School.
