June brings the return of the 18th annual Ben E. Clement Gem, Mineral, and Fossil show.
Starting Saturday and Sunday, June 7th and 8th at the Clement Mineral Museum in Marion. The museum is a "hidden gem" in itself, with thousands of specimens on display straight from the mines of the Illinois-Kentucky Fluorspar District, along with other specimens coming from around the globe.
More than a dozen vendors are expected at the mineral show this year with a variety of specimens, polished stones, fossils, jewelry, and many other items.
There will be an hourly door prize drawing, silent auctions, free children's activities, along with many other activities.
Hours are 9am-5pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday.
