The Murray-Calloway County Hospital has upgraded technology in its trauma x-ray room.
The hospital recently installed the Carestream DRX Evolution Plux X-ray system in the ER Trauama Room.
The system performs a wide-variety of general radiographic exams with remarkable convenience, patient comfort, and pristine image quality.
The newest features include a table with higher weight capacity, enhanced pediatric capabilities, extended tube-column range, and a future-friendly design.
Other features include the following:
• The new AI-based Smart Noise Cancellation Option cancels noise for superb image quality.
• Advanced Smart Room Features automate tasks and workflow steps to streamline processes, support radiographer productivity, save time and enhance patient care.
• Standard table for patients up to 600 lbs. (272 kg)
• A broad range of software options, including Admin Reporting, DICOM, APR, AEC and Intelligent Collimator
• DAP measurements to track the exact radiation dose received by each patient
